Status La Gloria Cubana is a current pre-revolution brand that was established in 1885. It lapsed in 1959 and was reinstated circa 1965. It is classified by Habanos SA as a local brand, and has a minor market share.
Generally The range comprises medium strength cigars using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region. There is a non-Cuban brand with the same name.
Releases Current production consists of two handmade cigars. La Gloria Cubana cigars were included in the 1999 release of the Siglo XXI Humidor. Since 2008 there have been further Special Releases.

First announced as a release for Germany, this was eventually released for all countries for which 5th Avenue is the distributor (Germany, Austria and Poland).
